Brace Face...

So we have started another child in orthodontia :)

Miguel went to the ortho yesterday and got his expanders put in. For those of you who may not know what an expander is or does, it does just what it says, it expands. Diego had one and it was quite weird. They put this contraption in the roof of his mouth and for seven days he has to turn the little crank and it moves his teeth apart. I was sure to take a picture of the before because the after is quite different, I will be posting them soon. It will probably move his two front teeth about 1/2 inch apart by the time he is done. Then on the bottom he has one as well but I don't think it does quite as much as the top.

So now, he talks very funny and very slurred, and then of course we have the always irritating 'SLUUUUUUURP' that comes with these nice pieces.

Antonio won't be far behind, I am sure.

Pamper Yourself

And we're off.........

So, baseball has begun. Diego has had 4 games, 2 on the 22nd and 2 on the 29th. They have lost only one of those games. We have two more Saturdays before it all starts. Miguel and Antonio will start their double-headers on the 19th of April. I have really enjoyed being able to go to Diego's games. Usually he is the one who doesn't have 'parent representation' at his activities due to the fact that we feel more comfortable with just dropping him off than we do as of yet with Miguel and Antonio.

Anyway, other than baseball, not much is going on in our lives. So I guess that's it for now. I will try to get some pics posted soon.

So it is really hard to talk about all my boys and how great they are in all thier sports in 'girly' backgrounds. Please bear with me while I find the perfect templates for my blogs. If anyone has any ideas of where I can go to find free templates, please let me know.

HE MADE IT!!!!!!!

Diego made the freshman baseball team at Provo High School. Congratulations. We are proud of him for all of his hard work. So now, here is my baseball season:

Diego: Double-headers every Wednesday; single games on Saturdays
Miguel: Double-headers every Saturday; single games on Mondays
Antonio: Double-headers every Saturday; maybe city league games on a weekday.

So how do you involve your children in activities, without favoring one over the other, and still make it to support them? How do you decide who suffers today? Sub-consciously you think that the oldest will understand better that you can't be at thier activities, but then what if you find out much later that there was a lot of resentment for that? That is what I am afraid of. At what point does everyone's activities get the attention? And then to try to fit in 'me time' or 'us time without kids' in all of this is all but impossible. So some say not to involve your kids in so much stuff. But how do I decide who gets to play sports or whatever and who doesn't?

Anyway, lots to look forward to. Lots of pictures will be being posted, so get ready.
